Help me celebrate my 1000th post

Hey folks – I’m on the homestretch to 1000 posts. This is officially #985.

I’m still looking for ideas for what to do to celebrate, or reward all you people for reading for so long 🙂

Please let me know if you have ideas for what to do.

    Scott — how about a list of fans/helpers/readers who have made a contribution with links to their sites or books or whatever?

    Bunch of other ideas I’ve heard in emails:

    • Give away 1000 copies of my books
    • Give away $1000
    • Post some kind of statistics on my blogging (anyone know a good plugin for WP for this?)
    • Post some kind of best of list for each topic you write about frequently (any regular readers want to help with this?)
    • Make a promise about what I’ll do when I get to 2000

    I’m currently at 993, so I’m running out time 🙁

      @livlab – suggested on twitter I write a post on whether writing 1000 posts is a measure of success, or not. I really like this idea. But still want to do some kind of thank you for readers.
